Join one of the last surviving wooden Victorian beach resorts in the world. After a $400M renovation and expansion, the resort is more stunning than ever.Located on Coronado Island, just minutes from Downtown San Diego, this 28-acre property was built in 1888. It features over 750 rooms, cottages, villas, 65,000 sq ft of banquet space, and 10 food and beverage outlets including restaurants, bars, a food truck, marketplace, ice cream shop, and in-room dining.Classification: Full-TimeShift: Various - must be available to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays.Pay Rate: $18.90 per hour, based on experience and location.What will I be doing?

• Approach all guests, employees, and members professionally and personally; maintain high standards of appearance and grooming; exude confidence and leadership; promote safe and efficient operations.
• Follow up on guest challenges to ensure satisfaction during and after their stay; coordinate amenity programs; update guest profiles; set traces for VIP amenities and coordinate distribution.
• Inspect VIP arrival rooms, ensure amenities and special requests are fulfilled; coordinate VIP arrivals and departures; prepare VIP arrival folders.
• Greet VIP guests curbside, escort to guestrooms, and bid farewell; identify potential new members; maintain confidentiality and security of high-profile guests; meet deadlines and coordinate amenities delivery; handle special arrangements and future visits.
• Identify upgrade opportunities for VIPs; collaborate with Reservations and Front Office; cater to VIP needs; facilitate communication among staff; manage guest flow; perform other duties as assigned.What are we looking for?The candidate should demonstrate the following:
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions.
  • Excellent customer service skills, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Basic English literacy for handling luggage tags and claim checks.
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, and perform essential functions continuously.
