Job Description Job Description We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Orange, California. This Contract to permanent position offers an opportunity to contribute to the financial operations of a dynamic organization. The ideal candidate will excel in managing billing and accounts receivable functions with precision and efficiency. Responsibilities: • Input daily work orders into Excel and create detailed billing worksheets. • Generate accurate monthly invoices, including progress billing and time-and-materials invoicing, using QuickBooks. • Monitor contract values and additional work to ensure consistent and correct billing. • Prepare and manage documentation such as pre-liens and lien releases. • Handle accounts receivable tasks, including light collections when necessary. • Maintain high levels of accuracy and organization across all billing and accounts receivable processes. • Collaborate effectively with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations. • Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies in all tasks performed. • Demonstrated proficiency in QuickBooks for invoicing and accounts receivable tasks. • Advanced Excel skills, including data entry and report generation. • Previous experience in accounts receivable and billing roles within the Construction field. • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities. • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams. • Ability to work independently while contributing to a small team environment. • Prior experience in the construction industry is strongly preferred.
