POSITION SUMMARY The Nashville Artist Relations Coordinator manages our Nashville showroom and serves as the public face for Taylor Guitars. The Nashville Artist Relations Coordinator is responsible for interacting with the local music community by introducing them to our guitars and brand. The Artist Relations Assistant will also need to demonstrate the sound and quality of Taylor Guitars by playing and providing in-depth knowledge of each Taylor model. Provides support in generating marketing content (video and photos) and coordinating local events. Department: MarketingFLSA Status: Non-ExemptWork Schedule: Part-Time 12:00pm-4:00pmNashville Artist Relations Coordinator Salary Range: $34.20 - $41.03/hour













Responsibilities

Essential Functions Statement(s) Schedules and coordinates appointments and sessions with artists, touring musicians, producers, songwriters and other stakeholders.Conducts one-on-one "Find Your Fit" sessions with artists to help them find the right guitar.Builds and maintains relationships with appropriate stake holders.Creates and contributes photo and video content for social media.Proactively finds new artists and stays current on artists rehearsing at Sound Check.Maintains a presentable showroom, including organizing products, keeping displays full and in order, as well as maintaining the presentation of guitars.Tracks and assumes responsibility for monthly showroom inventory and guitars out on loan.Researches and recommends local events and festivals for Taylor Guitars' participation.Attends several award shows, tradeshows, festivals and guitar shows per year.Coordinates the delivery, pick up and shipping of guitars for artists and events.Maintains and executes artist's guitar loaner agreements.Ensures sufficient inventory is available and recognizes what artists are reacting to.Keeps accurate minutes of meetings held and creates reports to follow up on.Engages with artists through follow-up phone calls to gage their experience and satisfaction with our guitars.Updates pickups when needed.Communicates any press opportunities, coordinate video shoot for Taylor Sessions and interviews for Taylor website, Wood & Steel and Bluebird Golden Pick.Responsible for the room and in Soundcheck, report to landlord for any maintenance issues.Entertainment and travel expenses will be reimbursed and approved by Tim Godwin.All loans and giveaways are to be approved by Tim Godwin.Sale of guitars will be routed through Evan Redel at the home office in El Cajon. Qualifications









POSITION QUALIFICATIONSGuitar Playing: Must have extensive guitar knowledge and play guitar adequately at an intermediate level.Education & Experience: Bachelor's Degree (four-year college or university) or equivalent relevant experience are a plus. Creativity, especially in product development, is highly valued. Experience in budgeting, financial reporting, disciplines are a plus. Computer Skills: Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications including Excel.Other Requirements: Must have video and photography skills.
