Job Description Job Description JOB DESCRIPTION - Schedule: 40 hours per week M-F - This is a 6 week long contract opportunity with a strong possibility of extension We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Pedestrian Signal Surveyor to assist with a short-term data collection project across Irvine, CA. This role involves walking to designated pedestrian signals, following a provided set of instructions to take basic measurements, and recording the data using a mobile app. Key Responsibilities: • Travel on foot or vehicle (bike, scooter, skateboard) to various pedestrian signal locations within Irvine city limits • Follow step-by-step instructions to inspect and measure pedestrian signals • Record measurements and observations using a smartphone-based app • Ensure accuracy and consistency in data collection • Maintain a professional and safety-conscious approach while working in public areas REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE • Must own a smartphone (all other equipment and instructions will be provided) • Comfortable walking outdoors for extended periods • Able to follow detailed instructions and work independently • Punctual, dependable, and detail-oriented • No prior experience required—training will be provided
