The Product Manager plays a vital role in driving growth and supporting the strategic direction across assigned life sciences product portfolios. This position focuses on expanding and optimizing the product portfolio, aligning with revenue, margin, and customer satisfaction objectives. This role includes developing go-to-market strategies, managing product lifecycles, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure product success. Building strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams is key to identifying opportunities for innovation and supporting product initiatives.What will you do:Drive revenue growth by sourcing new products and resourcing current products to strengthen Genesee Scientific's competitive positionNegotiate agreements, including private label and contract terms, to expand proprietary and exclusive products for the businessTrack and analyze sales, gross profit, and other metrics, making adjustments to achieve product line goalsDevelop pricing strategies by channel to optimize margins and support overall portfolio goalsDefine product positioning, pricing, and go-to-market strategies based on market trends, customer needs, and competitor analysisGather Voice of the Customer (VOC) insights to inform new product development and launch strategiesManage operational processes for new product introductions and product lifecycle management, including product setup, data management, cross-functional coordination, and phase-in/phase-out planning to ensure seamless market availability and alignment with business objectivesWork with Sales, Marketing, and other teams to achieve revenue, margin, and growth targetsForecasting & Budgeting: Support sales forecasting and budget planning, building financial models for product launchesTrain go-to-market teams on product features and benefits, providing ongoing customer supportDocumentation & Tools: Assist in creating user documentation and sales tools to communicate product benefitsMarket Analysis: Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify product differentiation opportunitiesResearch & Strategy: Conduct market research to guide product development and align with Genesee Scientific's goalsRequirements: What will you bring: Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field5+ years of product management and distribution experience, preferably in life sciences or related fieldsProven ability to translate customer needs into product requirements and guide developmentContract negotiations with detailed and complex terms in such areas as pricing, delivery, support and servicesDevelop strategies with Sales and Marketing Communications to drive market share growthDevelops and implements appropriate and effective pricing strategies by channel to maximize the end-to-end marginMonitors and analyzes sales, gross profits, and other metrics for the product lines making any necessary adjustments in the product line plans to meet goals and objectivesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Teams, strong excel skills, experience with other business management software is a plus Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
