holiday Job Summary: The Operating Room Registered Nurse provides
safe, compassionate, and efficient perioperative nursing care to
patients undergoing surgical procedures. The RN collaborates
closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical technologists,
and other members of the surgical team to ensure optimal outcomes
and maintain the highest standards of patient safety throughout the
perioperative process. This position is a night-shift assignment
requiring adaptability, excellent critical thinking, and strong
communication skills in a high-acuity surgical environment. Key
Responsibilities: Provide direct nursing care to patients before,
during, and after surgical procedures. Circulate and/or scrub for a
variety of surgical cases as assigned. Ensure adherence to aseptic
techniques and sterile field management. Prepare the operating room
with necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment prior to
procedures. Verify patient identity, surgical procedure, and
consent in compliance with safety protocols. Monitor and document
patient status, responses, and vital signs throughout the
perioperative phase. Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams
to provide high-quality patient care. Advocate for patient safety,
dignity, and comfort in all phases of the surgical experience.
Participate in the maintenance of equipment and supplies, reporting
any issues promptly. Support orientation of new staff or travelers
