be considered. A Registered Nurse (RN) with Operating Room
expertise is sought for a contract position in El Cajon, CA. This
role centers on delivering individualized, holistic nursing care to
patients and their families, promoting quality outcomes, and acting
as a strong patient advocate in a dynamic surgical environment. Key
Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and use
the nursing processassessment, planning, implementation, and
evaluationto provide safe and effective care. Develop and adapt
patient-centered care plans in collaboration with patients,
families, and healthcare team members. Address complex and
high-risk clinical situations by coordinating with other healthcare
professionals and seeking additional resources as needed. Advocate
for patients and families by ensuring their active participation in
care decisions and by upholding their rights. Facilitate patient
and family education through individualized plans, utilizing
adult-learning theory to improve understanding and outcomes.
Communicate and document care accurately according to departmental
guidelines and policies. Delegate nursing tasks appropriately
within the healthcare teams scope to ensure efficient patient care.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate and expedite
patient care and workflow. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license with Operating Room
experience. Proficiency in the nursing process and ability to
develop and implement individualized care plans. Strong
communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse
patients, families, and care teams. Ability to manage complex
clinical situations and prioritize patient needs effectively.
Understanding of cultural diversity and ability to adapt care
interventions accordingly. Experience in patient and family
