General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI), an

This position reports to a Senior Program Manager and is
responsible for overseeing and coordinating the operational aspects
of one or more developed or new program(s) within GA-ASI?s Unmanned
Aerial Systems (UAS) Company Owned Company Operated (COCO) Leasing
Services. The COCO Program Manager supervises a team of Project
Managers, providing leadership, task assignments, oversight,
personal development, professional evaluation, and mentorship to
the team. Responsible for all phases of assigned program(s) from
initiation through delivery, and serves as a liaison between the
project team, planning, engineering, line management, and customers
on issues such as operational and scheduling concerns. Assesses
program issues and develops solutions to meet delivery, quality,
and customer-satisfaction goals and objectives. Applies established
technologies using standard principles, theories, concepts, and
techniques to provide solutions to a variety of technical problems.
Continually reviews status of project(s) and budgets to ensure
project(s) are completed on time and within budget. Responsible for
decisions that could impact outcomes where erroneous decisions
could cause serious schedule delays and expenditure of additional
time and resources.
Duties and Responsibilities Manage all phases of program(s) from
conceptualization through completion, including acquisition,
planning, and managing technical performance to ensure quality,
business, and financial objectives are attained.
Oversee and monitor project schedule, timelines, and milestones
from initiation to delivery to meet delivery goals.
Interact with internal and external representatives at various
levels concerning resolution of technical and scheduling issues.
Act as primary contact for COCO program issues.
Influence, and coordinate the preparation of proposals, business
plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating
budgets, and financial terms/conditions of contract(s). Influence
contract acquisitions, negotiations and modifications.
Identify program issues and provide leadership in developing
solutions such as re-allocation of resources or modifying contract
