Job Description:

Semper Solaris, the fastest growing leader in the Residential Solar, Roofing,and HVAC Installation industry, is looking for an organized and motivated Sr. HR Coordinator at our El Cajon location. With 10 locations across California, Semper Solaris installs new solar systems, roofs, HVAC units, batteries, and provides maintenance and repair services. Under the general direction of the Director of Human Resources, the Sr. HR Coordinator performs a wide variety of administrative and compliance related duties. The ideal candidate will be highly computer literate with experience utilizing MS Office programs Word and Excel, polished, professional with strong organizational skills and the ability to perform multiple projects simultaneously while prioritizing responsibilities and work assignments. Most importantly the ideal candidate will be able to maintain confidentiality and a high level of business ethics. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

+ Assists with on-boarding and off-boarding of employees

+ Responds to general employee and management inquiries regarding policies, benefits, and compliance

+ Runs various department reports as needed/requested

+ Maintains employee personnel files and all information in HR systems

+ Assist with offer letter approvals submitted by management team

+ Assists with intake and management of worker?s compensation claims

+ Audits I-9s for compliance and accuracy

+ Manages driving, I-9, and HIS (home improvement sales) licensing compliance for the organization

+ Trains management on variety of compliance topics including but not limited to proper offer letter submittals, HIS (home improvement sales) licensing compliance, driving compliance, and I-9 compliance

+ Conducts appropriate audits to ensure data integrity

+ Assists Director of Human Resources with various research projects and/or special projects

+ Performs other duties and tasks as assigned by Director of Human Resources

Requirements:

+ Bachelors degree in Business Administration preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.

+ A minimum of 3 years of experience working in a professional setting / office environment

+ A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a human resources capacity

+ Strong written and oral communication skills

+ Attention to detail is a must

+ Capable and confident with reading, reviewing, and creating reports in Excel

+ Ability to work flexibly in a changing environment

Physical Requirements:

+ Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.

+ Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards

+ Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time

+ Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone
