Based out of Carlsbad CA , the selected candidate will provide general, day-to-day Human Resources Coordinator support on a professional level to the Human Resource team Radiometer America (incl. Canada), HemoCue America, and SenDx Medical (incl. New Brighton, MN). The chosen person will become a member of the diverse global HR team and help us to improve the way we support our business leaders and will work closely with senior HR management.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Handle pre-employment background checks (including Drug testing), new hire paperwork, onboarding processes and assist with new employee orientations
  • Assist in termination process (setting up exit interviews, processing termination paperwork and off boarding routine activities)
  • Be responsible for HR admin compliance (audit of payroll, benefits, etc and recommend corrective action; Write, update, and execute on SOPs; Complete Forms I-9, verifie I-9 documentation using e-verify, and maintain I-9 files)
  • Support other HR related tasks (for example: various reporting and tracking progress related to headcount and compliance training , handling HR related tasks relevant to Vendor Credentialing request, handling all VISA requests by working closely with our immigration attorney, performing HRIS data entry and personnel file maintenance, maintaining confidential personnel files and personnel actions both physical and electronic)
  • Assist with or leads various HR Projects and programs (company wide recognition programs, Years of Service awards, Annual AAP and EEO, referral bonus program, Tuition Reimbursement program)

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • B.A. or B.S. in Human Resources, Communications, Psychology or related field
  • At least 12 months of HR experience in a support function and excellent professional verbal and written skills
  • Minimum of Intermediate Excel, Word, and Outlook experience.
  • Ability to multitask, handle a fast-past environment, and work independently with little supervision for routine tasks.

It would be a plus if you also have/are :

  • Certificate in Human Resource Management
  • Desire to pursue advanced M.S. or MBA degree.
  • Fluency in Spanish,
