Job Description RUSSELL HOME INC. Non- Medical, Awake Overnight, Weekdays and Weekends. We currently have part-time, overnight, weekend and on-call positions available in our adult residential facilities. We have locations in El Cajon, Harbison Canyon, Lakeside, and Santee. Positions are for Residential Support Personnel (DSP) who will work with individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health challenges. Live Scan/ background clearance. Duties and Responsibilities: You will be responsible for the direct supervision and care of our residents. Duties include: -- Helping residents with their personal care (i.e., grooming, hygiene) -- Food preparation, food handling, serving of meals. -- Following daily schedule, behavioral plans, and activities. -- Maintaining daily written documentation. -- Laundry -- Upkeep and care of home (i.e., cleaning) -- And any other duties that are determined necessary. Minimum Qualifications: -- You must be 18 years of age prior to employment and legally be able to work in the state of California, and this must be verifiable by government issued ID. -- You must have a high school diploma or equivalent. -- You must pass a health screening that includes tuberculosis screening and physical. -- You must have a current Adult First Aid certificate -- Before employment begins you must have a Criminal Record Clearance (Live scan) submitted and approved.
