Job Description:

The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) has a upcoming need for a SharePoint Developer/Systems Administrator to support our Corporate Offices. This position will be remote. The SharePoint Developer / Systems Administrator and will report to the IT Systems Manager Will be responsible for the development of and maintenance of SharePoint Office 365 solutions for internal and customer environments. This responsibility includes all aspects of the software development life cycle including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support of custom solutions. In addition, you will serve as a subject matter expert and provide technical guidance and support when necessary while maintaining a high level of responsiveness to the business needs. This position will work with multiple departments to assist in maintaining data and processing electronic transaction interfaces. Duties Include: Design, develop, test, and deploy SharePoint Office 365 solutions Design, develop, test, and deploy visual web parts, custom workflows, InfoPath forms, MS Office integration components, page templates, branding customizations, and web services. Mentor others on best practices, design patterns, and use of server-side and client-side object models for building solutions on the SharePoint platform or that integrate with the SharePoint platform. Design, develop, test, deploy, and support dashboards, KPIs, and other Business Intelligence solutions using Excel Services that pull data from SharePoint and external data sources. Research, evaluate, and recommend 3rd party products that provide extended or enhanced capabilities to the platform. Assist with user acceptance testing and the preparation of user manuals and training materials for SharePoint solutions. Assist with communication of major/minor enhancements and bug-fixes and coordination with other support personnel to ensure seamless rollout of new functionality. Experience with Planning, design, and configuration, testing, and implementation of SharePoint Online solutions including, but not limited to SharePoint workflows and SharePoint tools such as Sharegate, MS Power Automate Nintex, etc. a PLUS. Additional duties supporting general IT operations may include: Installs new software releases and systems upgrades, evaluates, and installs patches, and resolves software related problems. Performs systems backups and recovery. Maintains data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity. Deploys, maintains, analyzes, upgrades, troubleshoots, and repairs PC and Mac hardware/software and network systems. (Including peripheral devices such as printers). Tier 2 and Tier 3 support of End-user Help Desk Issues Participate in the development and documentation of hardware & technical support departmental policies and procedures (SOPs), as well as application and process support documentation. Assist IT Director and Systems Manager in Project Management of IT Projects and Initiatives. Performs purchasing of hardware and software. Maintains IT Asset and inventory control. Activities including transmission verification, troubleshooting, analysis, problem solving, exception handling and reprocessing as necessary to ensure reliable and successful operations. Communicate with co-workers, trading partners and third parties as requested to provide technical assistance regarding data quality and related issues. Development, customization, and integration efforts of enterprise solution involving Collaboration, Portals, Business Process and Forms, and Business Intelligence (BI), utilizing SharePoint, SharePoint Designer and Visual Studio REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Experience with SharePoint Office 365 solutions with design, development, testing and deployment. Minimum of 2 yrs. Experience with SharePoint Online solutions (ie: SharePoint workflows and SharePoint tools such as Sharegate, MS Power Automate Nintex etc.) Must have experience with planning, design, configuration, testing, and implementation of SharePoint Online solutions Must have Diagnostic and analytical skills for software/application knowledge. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within IT Operations management. Ability to multitask Sense of urgency; maintain a positive attitude. Strong customer service experience and a service oriented attitude. Excellent telephone presence with organized follow-up skills. Strong problem solving skills. DESIRED SKILLS: Microsoft Active Directory, and Exchange. Proficiency with Active Directory, Group Policy Management, DNS & DHCP. User Account Management processes. Experience with system logging, auditing, & automation of related administrative tasks. Experience querying, manipulating, and transforming data. Experience with Shared Drive provisioning & maintenance including NTFS permissions and Security Group management. 3 or more years of experience in an IT technical support environment is preferred. DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT: Bachelor's degree in a computer related field In lieu of degree, 4 years' of directly related experience may be acceptable Ke`aki Technologies LLC is a fast-growing government service provider.
