The Investment Product Management team within LPL 's Wealth
Management Solutions (WMS) group is responsible for delivering a
highly competitive set of investment solutions. - This includes the
product offering, pricing advisor/client access to solutions, and
promotional activities. - The team 's goal from an investment
product management perspective is to enhance our clients '
experience and ability to grow, diversify our investment product
offerings, and enhance our firm 's economic and risk profiles.
This role will be responsible for developing new framework and
workflows for new investment product areas and initiatives,
improving processes for existing products, and applying new
techniques through the use of data intelligence to strengthen the
core of our investment product platform. The Senior Product Analyst
will be expected to drive complex projects from idea phase to
completion. Will track key business metrics, and understand how
areas at the cross-enterprise level collectively interact and
integrate to deepen the team 's knowledge of the firm 's ecosystem.
The role will collaborate closely with Technology, Operations,
Trading, Legal, Research, Compliance, and Business Development
teams to collectively create great client outcomes.
Essential Functions / Responsibilities :
Lead projects end-to-end across their lifecycle: identify and
structure the problem, analyze root causes, develop solutions,
write user stories for Technology development, communicate project
results, and get buy-in for change. Work with businesses in the
execution of improvement strategies, coordinating and taking active
part in the implementation process. Identify opportunities for
growth or optimization of businesses, including operational
management, capital allocation, and profitability enhancements
Perform deep dives on specific businesses to re-assess strategies
and opportunities Manage all aspects of the financial advisor
experience, including planning, prioritizing and organizing
projects, and host roundtables and pilot programs with advisors to
test new ideas Data Analytics : Conduct in-depth research to
support business strategies and identify trends across key business
drivers. Integrate firm-level, macroeconomic, financial, market,
regulatory changes, industry (including product sponsor and
competitive) data to detect trends, associations, and impacts
(cause-effect relationships) to LPL. Develop presentations for
senior management, synthesizing key findings of team analyses and
recommendations. Raise and present key findings to team
This position requires demonstrated technical competencies of
inferential statistics, structured problem solving, with investment
product and industry expertise, in-depth knowledge of LPL 's
processes, along with strong analytical, data management, project
management, and oral/written communication skills. The ability to
operate in partnership with other teams within IIS and across the
organization is also critical to the role. - Experience with
investments and the ability to operate independently to advance
projects and handle advisor escalations are baseline skills
required of the role.
Other Job Duties:
Provide data visualization of our research, communicating state of
business, experiment results, and recommending solutions and best
practices to optimize economics
Partner with others in Investment Product Management to support
departmental and firm-wide initiatives
Provide thought leadership to enhance/evolve LPL approach to
product availability and diligence
Track and respond to regulatory changes and industry / competitor
developments in terms of product, pricing, policy and platform
Partner with Product Risk to improve our approach to ongoing
Bachelor's degree in business related field or MBA/Masters and at
least 3 years experience. CFA a plus.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
Experience working with investment-oriented databases and
analytical software including Bloomberg, Morningstar, FactSet,
Tableau or Power BI, Python, SQL, Smartsheet, All Microsoft Office,
particularly Excel, Access, Visio, and Project. Experience with
machine learning and demonstrated ability to build predictive
models and algorithms a plus.
Product management experience associated with evaluating dynamic
decisions and contributing towards recommendations that enhance the

strong interpersonal and written communication skills
