The position is for second shift (3:00 pm to 11:30 pm). Under general supervision, maintain selected electronic and electrical systems on furnaces and associated equipment throughout the company.JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Learn & understand relevant industrial (AMS 2750) & Customer specific standards relevant to Heat Treatment of metal in aerospace applications.
• Prepare, perform and record system accuracy tests, enter the data into spreadsheet file and save.
• Set up thermal uniformity survey and data recorder and enter data into spreadsheet file and save.
• May trouble-shoot/repair electronic/electrical components on computer controlled and numeric controlled machinery and systems such as heat-treating ovens.
• Performs periodic maintenance on electrical/electronic systems on all Heat treatment machine tools and associated equipment. Maintain records associated with periodic maintenance.
• May program all controllers and instruments on all furnaces. Assists calibration department in calibrating furnaces as required.
• Assists in the development and maintenance of a business culture, which supports the Company's overall business objectives and goals.
• Ensures the company's commitment to maintain a safe workplace and to protect the environment through the establishment and support of Company policy and adherence to various government regulations.

    • Requires minimum of 1-year related experience.
    • Must possess strong electrical background and electronics theory training.
    • The ability to work as a team player as well as independently is required.EDUCATION:
      • High School diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.MENTAL AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
        • Ability to read, write and comprehend English instructions
        • Ability to read technical manuals.
        • Ability to use electrical test equipment, multi-meter, oscilloscope, etc.
        • Ability to read and interpret schematics.
        • Ability to determine temperature required for proper control of components being treated.
        • Manual dexterity
        • Good vision with correction
        • Ability to stand for long periods of time
        • Lift up to 50 pounds
