is a high visibility role within the organization and will develop
and oversee supply chain processes in Equipment (Asset) Life Cycle
Management to provide timely analysis and reports that drive
improvements in operational performance. Analyst will provide
senior management with insight and recommendations on improvement
opportunities and lead improvement
projects.Duties/Responsibilities:
Collaborate to develop, implement,
and provide oversite for those strategies, programs, and policies
supporting equipment management, operations, and
maintenance.Collects, interprets, and analyzes various types of
equipment data including availability/ utilization, reliability and
maintenance, and other data related to an asset's life
cycle.Develop enhancements to database(s) of equipment inventory
and maintenance information.Reviews asset management processes and
procedures; identifies, recommends, and implements improvements to
maximize asset utilization, reduce downtime, while minimizing
maintenance costs.Reviews and analyzes procurement and maintenance
costs, parts procurement and delivery processes, parts issues such
as back orders, and other asset metrics.Provide or ensure Root
Cause Failure Analyses are performed on all major components not
meeting targeted lives and condition reports on those components
that meet or exceed targeted lives.Uses analytic methods and tools
to understand, predict, and control equipment availability /
operational readiness.Supports equipment requirement planning and
forecasting that informs the company's capital planning
processSupport review of vendor quotes and estimates for services,
tools, parts, and suppliesCollaborate with cross-functional
business units on key deliverables to mitigate risk and meet
deadlinesPerforms other related duties, as assigned.Required
Skills/Abilities:
2+ years of equipment / fleet
management or equipment sourcing experience is desirable.Solid
understanding of materials management, maintenance management, or
Equipment Lifecycle ManagementExcellent analytical and
problem-solving skillsExperience in data mining, analysis, and
reportingExcellent written and verbal communication
skillsProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar
softwareEducation and Experience:
A bachelor's degree in supply chain
management, mechanical engineering, or related experience is
preferred.Previous experience in maintenance management, supply
chain or logistics field.APICS certification is highly desirable
(CSCP) or Certified Procurement Operations Specialists
(CPOS)Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift 15 pounds at a
time.Travel requirements 25%This is not a remote position due to
the collaborative nature of this role.Our good faith estimate of
the compensation range for this opportunity is a base salary of
$60,000 - $90,000. Individual pay decisions will vary based upon
the experience and qualifications of the applicant. -This range is
based on market rates and determined by considering many factors
such as external market salary survey data, internal data for
comparable roles, and the operational and budgetary objectives of
